The 80's, the most amazing music laboratory ever, achieved a music production and new artists that exceeds the 90's until today.

No other period in Pop/Rock music was so rich. Like it or not, nobody can deny.

I compare with J.S Bach in Germany, a single man summed up the entire Baroque as a synthesis of that period and 'The 80's' when millions of men and finally the girls summed up an entire decade in music, the result is a pyramid in which background basis are lots of names like:
'Spandau ballet', 'Sandra', Cyndi Lauper', 'Twisted Sister ', 'Survivor', 'Bob Marley', 'Motorhead', 'Suzanne Vega', 'A-ha', 'ABBA', 'Alphaville', 'Nena', 'Kraftwerk', 'Peter Schilling', 'Bruce Hornsby', 'The Bangles', 'Prince', 'The cure', 'Wham!', 'The B-52's', 'Culture Club', 'Berlin', 'Depeche Mode', 'R.E.M', 'New Edition', 'Blondie', 'Human League', 'Lionel Richie', 'Falco', and scandals like 'Milli Vanilli' and other opportunist bad producers.

    In the middle were:
Europe, Scorpions, Whitesnake, Iron Maiden, Nirvana, Angra, AC/DC, INXS, Aerosmith, The police, Eurythmics, Billy Idol, George Michael, The Pretenders, Men At Work and many others.

In the top of this pyramid were: Michael Jackson, Madonna, Bon Jovi, Van Halen, Guns N Roses, , U2, Phil Collins, Sting, and some others.

Record companies begin to lose money because of the invention of the cd burner, then immediately comes to web with torrent, Napters / Emule / Morpheus. So there's no more money and enthusiasm to invest in advertising and new artists.

Sony Music said that 'Michael Jackson's album 'Bad' , sold poorly. Today we know that no one reached that mark, perhaps Sony has stolen a fortune that should be given to 'Mr. Moon Walk '. And never forget that 'Michael Jackson' stopped his show, to say that the owner of Sony Music, "Tommy Mottola" was a devil.

Today, the good thing is that, who is good can win.
