Modern Scoring Strings is an all new 60 piece “a2″ divisi (2 parts divisi per section) string library that has been painstakingly developed by recording different divisi sections (a half a section at a time) on a beautiful sounding scoring stage giving you unprecedented control of each instrument and section. The breadth of articulations and bowing techniques were chosen to offer an enormous range of colors and emotions for your productions.

Since the release of LA Scoring Strings in 2009, we have been asked repeatedly when Audiobro will release a new or updated strings library. We have always said that we would do it only as soon as we believed that we could push the quality and versatility of strings sampling forward a generation. We think you’ll agree that we have.













Modern Scoring Strings Library Size:
About 131GB with lossless compressed audio files (approximately 160GB uncompressed). 140GB required during installation for the entire 130GB library.

Modern Scoring Strings Expanded Legato Library Size:
About 60GB with lossless compressed audio files (approximately 80GB uncompressed). 70GB required during installation for the entire 60GB library.

Minimum System Requirements:
-Requires Kontakt Player 6.0.4 or later.

Could you add an SFV file? It's a pain to figure out any corrupt parts while unpacking, because you have to start the unpacking from the beginning each time you replace a file that first was not working

I hate it when after a nine hour download and unpack there are samples missing. I'm not assigning blame to anyone. Probably a flaw in the download, but I'm not doing the whole thing again to find the missing content.

I am getting a checksum error unpacking the ZIP, it still unpacks, but I guess files are missing because of that. RARs unpacked so download is ok, but error in the zip inside the rars

I just finished checking the rar parts and the zips and I did not get any errors.
That being said, here is your missing parts extracted from the same release without errors.

Thanks! I dl:ed also from Audionews and I somehow had all files, and batch resave did not give any errors, so I think it is ok :)

Does anyone know why ddownload doesn't start downloading, instead it gives an error message and the page acts as if I did the download and now I have to wait 2 hours for the next? It bugs me for a long time, I have never been able to download any file from ddownload since it was used on AZ.

Hi Guys,

Yep downloaded everything installed the update but get the spinning wheel when trying to load an instrument and force quit says Kontakt not responding.

I'm on Mac OS 10:12:6 Kontakt 6:4:2

Any advice appreciated

There is a patch list on the home page link which indicates that solo violin and solo cello have trills and harmonics articulations but I can't figure out how to load them. The only thing that appears on the cello GUI is the Legato/Sustains box, Shorts, Pizzicato, Tremolo and Scales, and the violin has Legato/Sustains, Shorts, Pizzicato, Tremolo and Trills.

Harmonics (and Trills on the cello) are selectable in the Tile Switcher but nothing happens when I press the keyswitches I have assigned them to. Am I being stupid?

Would anyone mind sharing the NICNT from this upload with me. I deleted it when I downloaded the new one on the update link. Since I added the new NICNT its been crashing in Cubase 11. I just want to see if it fixes that issue with the older NICNT. I also deleted MSS_1_0.nkc and MSS_1_0.nkr. Not sure but since these changes its not working properly for me. Im on Windows 10 64. Any help is appreciated. Thanks !!!!
