The read me is just the text at the top of this post:

Look for the "fix" .nkr files in the peep links and replace the .nkr files in the Samples folder.

How does one have to install it for Kontakt Portable (latest version?
It says "This instrument belongs to a library that is currently not installed."
The .nkr file is in the main folder of the library - is there anything else to do?

you should use Add Library from Kontakt Setup to write these missing keys.

The .nkr file belongs in the Samples folder. The only file in the main folder of the library should be the .nicnt file.

First of all, many thanks to josenacha for this wonderful library!!!

Perhaps some of them felt like me and thought "Oh no, not another piano library and then over 50 GB ?!"
Unfortunately, the videos here absolutely do not show the potential of this library at all.
You only hear and see a little piano strumming and that's it.
That will probably have stopped many from downloading this library and to be honest I had to think ten times about whether I should download it anyway.
Well, so I did it anyway and was very pleasantly surprised.

500 snapshots ... that many?
That can't just be "normal" piano sounds was my first thought.
From ambient to weird tones, everything is included.

But you should also read exactly which files are to be replaced and the links to this are included for the individual libraries.
In itself there are actually 4 libraries and not just one.

Everyone should know where you can download the wallpapers.
I don't understand why it doesn't work for some.
Again, you should be careful which Kontakt version you are using.

I have the 6.6.0 portable and added it with the library manager that came with it. Zero problems!

As I said, it is a pity that there is no video with a "Snapshot Tour" to be seen here, because that would be necessary and would make the decision to download this library much easier for some.

Perhaps my contribution will help you to reconsider your decision, because there is much more to be found here (to be heard) than you think.

Yes thank you very much josenacha for this library which seems "traditional" because perhaps among other things to the effect of white on white of the skin.
Thank you also Reznamor! To make me also want to see more closely unlike the demos what "hides" like sounds in this instrument.
We can never say it enough but never trust the demos which too often do not show the potential of the instrument ...

i think is same file,

so.... I noticed when the Prepared 'missing files' splash screen came up, that it was looking for a file named "_SHARED.nkx" and not just SHARED.nkx like the others. I renamed the SHARED.nkx and SHARED.nkc to _SHARED.nkx AND _SHARED.nkr in the Prepared Samples folder and everything works fine, no batch resaving needed.

just to clarify, rename by adding a "_" (underscore) to the beginning of each SHARED file in the Prepared Samples folder

the shit is that they use a global key for the full bundle iso.
Hammers and Waves in regedit

and four keys for the separate products iso's

Hammers and Waves - Chime
Hammers and Waves - Electric
Hammers and Waves - Prepared


the 49Go iso have to use another unlock
a global _HAMMERS + WAVES.nkr
and maybe delete the _HAMMERS + WAVES.nkc to take the new kontakt scan over.

i tested it and repared the global install from separate iso's.
because the original installer is broken at Ni server (some content parts are damaged during install) even downloaded 2 time.

this is the global fix in case you have the full bundle installer.
the separate installers are the last version, the full is the old thing.

Thanks for your comments Rez. Like everyone else, Im always searching for the ultimate piano library. I used to use the East West Bosendorfer exclusively because in spite of the myriad issues with EW sampling it seemed to suit the genres I was working with most of the time in an adequate kind of way. Synthogy Ivory is adequate in some situations, but I generally find it unsatisfying. I don't like Spectrasonics keyboards at all. None of them sound good to me. Ive yet to do an A/B comparison but Im not sure if this library is better than the Modart pianos to my ear. Somehow they seem more "lively".

But your original post is good, and it will make me investigate this library further.

Having placed the relevant FIXED .nkr files in the corresponding Samples folders of all four libraries I find that ‘Acoustic’ and ‘Chimes’ remain in DEMO mode. ‘Prepared’ and ‘Electric’ are fine. Same process followed for all four libraries. I’ve uninstalled, redownloaded the FIX files (just in case) and reinstalled, but the issue remains. Each library is in its own separate folder on the same drive. I’m using Kontakt (Full) v6.6.1 (R139) R2R. Whether it’s relevant or not I have also noticed that R2R Kontakt Manager detects ‘Prepared’ and ‘Electric’ but not ‘Acoustic’ or ‘Chimes’.

I’d welcome any troubleshooting suggestions.
In two days time tomorrow will be yesterday and it will be too late.

I also had almost the same issue, but my Kontakt Portable wouldn't even add the two Libraries mentioned by you (Acoustic and Chime).
Wondering why the other twos worked without issue, I compared all 4 Libraries :
- There were obsolete nicnt files (._Hammers and Waves - Acoustic.nicnt and ._Hammers and Waves - Chime.nicnt both with just 1KB files size)
in both Acoustic and Chime main Folders which caused the two libraries not being able to be added in Kontakt Portable.

Solution : just delete those two files and they will be added correctly like the two others Electric and Prepared.
At least that what worked for me.

Hi. I installed only acoustic.
For me on Windows 7 and Kontakt portable 6.6.1 don't work.
When I try to add Library, the response is "Library not found "

OTHER UPDATE: After 10 minutes of playing it I am already addicted to it !!!
The real strength of the piano is in its presets, but even better to create the sound yourself that can change a lot.
This sound has a soul in motion.
I make it a favorite in this genre, along with Heavyocity ASCEND and NI NOIRE, and all the felt pianos I have

sorry to be a pain, but I have no idea how to install this. I've downloaded all the parts, and extracted them, but I am left with an installer that gives me ("fatal error" - content not found) messages and bunch of pkg files. I know I'm obviously missing something, but i have no idea how to install these libraries,
