Classic Rock EBX is an extension to EZbass that features carefully recorded 1960s bass. This bass, selected for its optimal quality, embodies all the wants and needs that you would look for in a rock instrument's workhorse: low frequencies, high harmonics and that bright and distinct sustain that permeates any mix. Instructions :
This library requires a new version of EZbass 1.0.6 . this version is not yet popular among the people, there is a workaround:
This solution works only with the version of EZbass 1.0.0 (Team VR)

Unpack Graphics.zip to the folder with the library. You should also change the version in the Aversion file from 1.0.6 to 1.0.0.

It sounds like you are using the R2R version, as the VR version doesnt need a keygen. You need to use the VR version for this to work.

Instead of using the installer, you need to copy the EZB-ClassicRock folder from the installer and paste it into your EZbass folder.

yeah I gots the no sound in Logic , followed all the instructions to a T , it loads , I can see the bass , Graphics folder imported into EZB-ClassicRock Library , edited the Aversion file to say minreq EB 1.0.0 ... no sound , the plugin doesn't load the library , loads the other libraries fine of course , hmmm
I'm using the Team VR version of EZ Bass 1.0.0 I believe
edit: nope I'm using the Team RET install hmmm , I don't see the Team VR for Mac, better look harder

was able to install but no sound on Mojave Logic Pro x. Any take on this one?

Ok, for those on Logic Pro X (I have 10.4.3), you have to use the Team VR version of EZbass 1.0 along with the instructions in order for the Classic Rock library to start loading. Also, the standalone version works in Team VR.

That was the ticket! I didn't see the Team V.R. version here for Mac, but was able to torrent it..

I got EZB to see this library through manually putting it in place. It sees it and then excludes it because it requires v 1.0.6 and the latest update is v1.0.5, so we'll have to wait to be able to use this. Watching for another update and then it'll be good. Close. Maybe the MIDI is already usable.

We have idd to wait for 1.0.6. and I can confirm EBX Rock midi is working fine...

I have an original copy of EZBass, updated to version 1.0.6.
I tried to install the library but when I load it it asks me to activate the product. are there any solutions? thank you

Get the Team VR version of EZbass 1.0.0
Download this version of Classic Rock EBX and install
Use Text Editor and change the Aversion file for EBX from 1.0.6 to 1.0.0
Copy the Graphics file folder from the download to Mac HDD/Library/Application Support/EZbass/EZB-ClassicRock. The Aversion file can be found here as well.

Well when the interface first opens you have no sound. You have to wait for the samples to load. Once they load you should have sound.

I gots no sound lol , the library is avail on mac this is the issue , the preset name background shows the sample loading progress and that little area never shows any load progress from left to right , can choose the two standard libraries , modern and vintage , but classic rock will never load it's samples . I have a windows desktop for running Vienna Ensemble and EZ Bass Win vst loads and plays this library just fine. So for now not a huge issue , and after all the fuss meh I think I prefer the modern and vintage library to classic rock, maybe it just needs to grow on me ,
Works on Windows with C.E. V.R. version 1.0.0 . of course can't use the installer but why bother , just add the sounds , unzip the Graphics.zip to the right folder , chagne Aversion to 1.0.0 not sure if that does anything and it works on Windows
Mac no. won't ever load the samples who knows why .

All that is necessary right now is a keygen for this release. The R2R version is accepting of the Aversion file edit but is asking for a key. Im sure the VR version works but I like the fact that R2Rs versions work with legit DAWs.
