In this EZX, drummer Dirk Verbeuren (Megadeth) and engineer Chris Rakestraw (Megadeth, Deftones, Parkway Drive) have teamed up to bring you the epitome of a metal expansion for EZdrummer 3 and Superior Drummer 3. It features three unique kits, a wealth of snare drums and kicks as well as over 30 cymbals – all flawlessly captured in one of the world’s most famed studios for hard rock and metal: Studio A at One On One in Los Angeles. Massive-sounding, warm and vibrant but at the same time just as tight and aggressive, this room has all the qualities to move air in a way that makes it seem custom-built particularly for hard-hitting metal drums. The present instrument incorporates parts of an earlier organ, namely the 1569 - 1571 Peter Janszoon de Swart renaissance organ. From this famous and capable organ builder 6 stops in de Rugwerk, 3 in the Bovenwerk, and 2 in the Pedal still remain in the instrument. Notably the plenum formed by octaaf 4 and 2', the quint 3' and the two mixtures in the Rugwerk are from de Swart. In manufacture as well as in sound quality these pipes are the best of the organ. Due to the usual compass of instruments in the 16th century the old pipes are basically in the region F, G, A - f#2, a2, the remainder made new in1640, 1709 and 1831.

CGC Shaker is experimental percussion sounding similar to shaker.

It's made out of recordings of Camping Gas Cartridges (CGC) filled with sand (and small rocks). It's not that very predictive when in use, making similar but always different sound so we used many round robins to emulate that.

There are probably out there some world instruments sounding or made in a similar way so in a way it is foley and world and experimental percussion instrument.
We sampled/made instruments of 4 types of shakers, more in the manual.
Formats: Kontakt (96KHz & 44.1KHz), Akai MPC software, NI Maschine, wav loops.
