Four Liverpudlian musicians changed the audio recording landscape in the 60s. EMI began development of in house hardware that found a home in Abbey Road, recording studio of many a successful artist. The foundation of this library is based on a genuine vintage EMI microphone amplifier section that I managed to track down. A custom made and modified unit optimised for modern recording, it has a 50 Ohm /200 Ohm preamp section and a DI/Line level input.
