You're probably right... but it exists several such Sample Libraries with more or less the same content, and above all, provided with different 'boxes' and/or 'covers', so...
Moreover, among all these Libraries, only for that particular 'Yamaha MOTIF' synth, you can find Sample Libraries of the 'XS', the 'ES',
the 'XF',... just to mention the most common, so...
and personally, I don't remember to have heard about 'TrueNotes'
in particular...

Well , if you want Yamaha motif you decide to pay for hardware, or you have this solution, that give you, not only the sound of Yamaha Motif, but give you the possibility to tweak it how ever you want with Alchemy.

I see only one problem here... to download it from Uploaded, it would take me approx. 10.5 days since you can download only one file every 3 hours. It's insane. If you provide us with more file hosters, it would be much easier, please.

SineWave why don't you have a premium account with Uploader I wouldn't even come here thinking about downloading without don't be so cheap man ...it save you tons of time

On the other side, uploading 28 Gb even with a good connection is extremely long so, I am sorry to say that I don't have time for it.

But I have Yamaha Motif for Kontakt, and there are not same the sounds. I don't know why.

Problem is samples sucks (they are the same samples, served again and again for years...and it was already average years ago)

It was exactly the same problem with TITAN.
It is nice to get a collection of sounds covering a lot of grounds.
But when sampling sounds like it was done with a consumer 90's soundcard...no way. It is useless.
GB of wasted space is all you get.

Doing such extensive work with crappy hardware is really not serious. Top notch samples made 10 years ago still sound good, even at 16/44.1

There is a problem on UL server you cannot download this file (DVD1 part03) actually. the file must be 186,88 Mb.

I'll be checking and tell when the server is ok.

The preset folder called "Yamaha Motif XF" is in DVD 1
And alone in the folder, under the name YMXFPres.rar

Hey I would like to know about the DVD 8 where is it? I mean there are 12 DVDs but when I downloaded it there are only 11 Is it all in those DVDs or the 8 DVD is lost?

If you to delete the garbage Dotfile if You will make a inside package in future.
When there is this file in large quantities, capacity is considerably used.

head of "._" start files eg. "._filename.extention" is not at all usually necessary for the supported files.

DVD1 is corrupt, downloading now
DVD2 58MB, 2554 garbage Dotfile included.
DVD3 87MB, 3075 same
DVD4,5 and 7.9,10.11,12 clean
DVD6 one .DS_Store file
DVD8 is not found now

The dot in the names are made for more complicated to find using meta searchers, and so the link live longer.

To anyone experiencing problems with load sfz files: this is my workaround
1. Create new folder named "SAMPLES-TRUENOTES SAMPLED-" (without quotes, of course)
2. Put all "TrueNotes_Sampled DVD1 - TrueNotes_Sampled DVD12" inside it
3. Move "SAMPLES-TRUENOTES SAMPLED-" inside presets folder "YMXFPres"
4. Bingo!

its about 44 Gb unpacked ;)

These samples are sampled with far too loud mids. Besides that most samples are not balanced well in L/R position. Most of the sounds are very good but the audio quality is very poor. Sorry.

BTW, i guess uploader upsampled the existing material. After downsampling all to 44100 16bit it became exactly 28 Gb as we can see in description. Now converting to Kontakt and will made a compressed ncw Kontakt Library from it ;)



rotong not all sounds but not any sounds are so poor. its just SO DRY ) its up to you to use any effects and EQ on it in your DAW, also control it PAN ;)

A little bit of samples are missing. I google it and it seems to be the full collection containing 18DVDs

sorry but the samples sound very bad, they sound dull.

a kontakt conversion would be cool, not sure why anyone would prefer sfz ..

Salut Olymoon, merci pour ces deux liens, effectivement il y a de la litterature dans tous les sens du terme (j'adore 'les fromages qui puent', excellente replique de Mr Sylvestre).

and I did'n't do anything to it. Just took it out of the DVD to post it.
