By the way, I´m learning Russian, amazing language.

Russian Folclore directly influenced the Russian Classical Music. I studied "Classic" Russian Music at the UNI, there's no word in english to refer to a music out of the "Classical period", but, in russian maybe: мягкая музыка (erudictus mvsica) to refer to all intellectual music.

All the music done today in every country are very poor, the pop music is a trash, the 80's did lots of pearls, the 90's has good things, like "Queen, U2, Bowie, Seal. Today all countries use the same words, (Love, Heart, Emotion, Ache, Heart Pain, You and You, Me and You, You are, Jealousy) and all the top minding poor words. Its good when you don't understand english and Listen to "Mariah Carey", but if you understand that, run away. Rap, Dub, Funk, El. House must be respect in their own origins, but poor incapable people wrongly copy to their areas, they are unable to build their own music. A long time ago, other centuries, people had not directly influence on the others, there weren't internet, radio stations, TV, then Beethoven is not Haydn or Mozart, Chopin and Liszt are quite different, Stravinsky is strongly different of his master Korsakov.. Today every poor girl wants to be "Lady Gaga or Rihanna", don't need a text.

Such Russian works that influenced many others, including "Hollywood" composers, Korsakov, Mussorgsky and the explendid worderful Stravinsky that only start composing when got off the tigers eyes of Russia going with Diaghilev to France.

I like too much the "republican" Balakirev who tried to force the Russian nationalism and traditions, but him self was not pure, his most famous music "Islamey" goes to the Orient, but not inside his own country, it is the same fate, destiny and cruel error of someone who goes further to the others, like "Dave Brubek and Duke Ellington" of which most famous musics are "Take 5" whose composer is Paul Desmond, and "Take The A Train" whose composition and the strong arrangment belongs to "Billy Strayhorn". Note that both hits begins with the same word "TAKE". Be careful, when someone bring you a music begining with "take" (lol).

To finish it, the most famous "Minuet in G of Bach", is not from him, belongs to a baroque composer called "Petzold", Bach only did the arrangment for it. Brubeck and Ellington died in disgust, for his most famous songs are not yours. Bach is forgiven because of his giant "magum opera" (plural of opus, not the fake adpted english word opuses, nevertheless many intellectuals use it).

By the way, II do not like to be the tip of the iceberg about music, I dig in.
