Wat's new in the extended version

Irritated by the annoying side effects of pitch shifting especially audible with human voices and the artificial stiffness of conventional, short-looped samples I decided to extend the existing "Classical Choir" and attempt to achieve a new standard for sampled sounds of human voices.

The result is a library with remarkably improved quality, using 1/2 samples per octave so that no transposition of samples is necessary and looping techniques which do not destroy the natural character of the sound. If you can afford the memory space, use the long loop versions, which I highly recomend. If not do not worry; you will find a "new generation" of short loop versions in this library, as well. They sound thanks to some clever, advanced looping techniques astoundingly good. You can replace them with the long looped categories at any time, as their tonal and physical properties are nearly the same.

So, welcome to the first choral library containing samples recorded at half-steps, performed by even more singers, and with greatly improved, consistent sonic quality closer to a natural human sound than ever before.

Enjoy the impressive sound of the human voice!

Any advice on how to extract it? I failed with AnyToISO and Keka on Mac

if it's an ISO in Akai format - either ExtremeSamplerConverter or ChickenSys Translator, CDXtract. No clue if Mac equivalents exist.

You've waded into vintage libraries long forgotten, so weird niche software is involved.

Normally you would just put the CD into an Akai hardware sampler. They have to be converted to a different format.

Thanks for the explanation. I have successfully extracted many vintage libraries (Best Service, Zero-G, East West...) using AnyToISO, but I'm not sure if they were exclusive CDs for old Akai samplers. Yesterday I tried to burn the image to CD-R, but it is not readable on my Mac. I will follow your suggestion and rely on a software you suggested :)
