He knows that is some colossal BS, you can only copyright the melody! and melodies work with the tempo and harmony behind them, so copyrighting midi chords is just bananas

EDIT: so I checked this out and these aren't just plain midi chord progressions they have melodies as well, so yeah, they can copyright this shit (but you still can change the key and the melodies! and nobody would notice ) I think the best use for this is to get some inspiration and develop the ideas from here and build your own tracks
