Oskar Mike’s 'Heavyweight Drum Kit Collection Vol.2' features hard-hitting Acoustic Drum Samples recorded at an award-winning, high-end recording studio in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Each volume contains a wide range of real acoustic drums and percussion ranging from custom wood kits to lively larger than life rock kits.

These completely original drum and percussion recordings were captured through high end vintage microphones and a Neve V3 recording console. Certain sounds feature additional outboard pre-amplification through units such as the Neve 1073 and Altec 1567A. All of the source sounds were captured in high resolution through top of the line converters at 88.2 kHz 24-Bit and down sampled for use in software/hardware samplers.

Additional analog compression and saturation was applied in the post-production stage to add extra weight and punchiness to the source material. All sounds in this collection have been clearly labeled and organized into folders using an alphabetical/numbering system for quick access and recall in sessions.

Beyond just hard-hitting kicks and snares, these bundles contain a variety of percussion options ranging from claps, snaps, stomps, shakers, tambourines... the list goes on. All sounds are ready to be used in your preferred sampler.
