I think the idea is to process them enough so it doesnt resemble the original sample anymore then you can use it however cause who would know lol. It would be the same as going through old records yourself and finding a cool sample and using it for a beat but boom bap labs have done that for you in this case. But what I dont get is how boom bap labs can legally do what they do? Just resell snippets of old records?

Yeah I am staying away for these. I thought it would be cool to sample into my own music that I release, but honestly it's not worth the potential copyright hassle.
