Boom Bap Labs Alpha Centori Celestial Gems 9 WAV-FANTASTiC screenshot
FANTASTiC | 09 November 2023 | 49 MB
A brand-new type of gem has been discovered. That sounds like something out of the norm to me. These samples are so rare and unique, celestial was the only name we could think of. There are 10 samples included in this pack, which will keep you busy for hours. The simplest way to describe this pack is as a small jab with tremendous damage. Chop them up, re-arrange, transform and create awesome bangers every time. All files are in universal WAV format at 44.1Khz sampling rate and 16-bit resolution. Only 25 copies available worldwide.

The intent is different than that of places like Unison.
Besides the sales aspect, the idea of the limited sales of sample finds is to make the pool of people sampling off of these cuts smaller so, ideally, you aren't competing with twenty-five thousand other people who're throwing these same cuts out to MCs in their beat batches. Ya'know, Nautilus Syndrome.

Makes sense, yeah. But since this is a digital product, "limited copies" doesn't sound right,
maybe "limited licenses" would've made more sense.

No, I agree. That said, "Limited "Licenses" wouldn't work as they're not original compositions by Alpha Centori, but there are still better ways to phrase it, like as a "Limited Window" that it's available, or something along those lines. Honestly tho? "Limited Copies" aggravates my nit-pick-ery of the nuances of the written word less than when a company labels one of their plugins as "Sold Out." Seriously? Artificial hype? GTFO with that noise...
