my first impression was like : are these considered big drums really ?

sure it sounded live but not big enough

dont blame me for reading the title ''BIG DRUMS''

i was expecting thomas dolby/mike mareen/michael cretu type of 80s drums
(those are considered big drums in my book )

by todays standard ,i wish some Big drums can be replicated from björk songs
because looking for BIG drums is like looking for a joint in a police station offices
very rare
living in the 80s is good thing

You know how compressors work?
You don't have to search for big drums
Simply use any drumkit (Stock Ableton drums, Stock Cubase or anything) and compress the hell out of them to get that "breathing drums" effect which sound big like the Army of me song

thanks for the tip @WhiteBear

yes i do love gentle compressing on drums but i always worry about heavy compression

wouldnt that effect the track if i applied another overall compression ?

thats why i want ready made samples for saving time

and you have to excuse me bro i love composing but these details of compression
is another guys job (sound engineering guy ) and they always never explain their work
(like its big secret heheh )
living in the 80s is good thing
