So you can just take these vocals, make a song and submit them to a record label and if it's a hit song you don't have to credit or pay the singer?

I just read all of their Terms & Conditions. Here's the thing; they make it SEEM like you are free to use the samples without the need for royalties by saying "we grant you a limited, non-exclusive right to include the audio samples in your work".... BUT, further down the page it says; "2.6:
You shall own all intellectual property rights in all Your Music incorporating any of the Audio Files, provided, however, that you shall not own any underlying Audio Files incorporated into Your Music.".....
So this has been written in such a way to twist your head around, but what it actually implies is that they let you own your track featuring their samples, that's all yours of course, BUT you shall not own THEIR samples that were incorporated into your track. Meaning your track is NOT all yours for as long as their samples are in there.

I don't believe we have reached the day yet when a sample pack song reached #1 on the U.S. Billboard chart, for example. But when we do, I guarantee you, the owners will want their royalties and every single penny that you and the label made along the way, plus whatever you hoped to make on future royalties with that big hit track.
