They ban people because they are strict agains copyright infringement. They are strict on fraud and stuff. If you use a billing address that differentiates from the IP you are using when buying from them, they block your IP out of suspicion. If you use a name that isn't on the credit card you use, they block you. Basically if anything is "suspicious", they will do that, and they will refund your purchase and you don't get what you bought. It's pretty whack and incredibly stupid. Yet they expect to make money. That, and their products are only available on their site. So technically speaking, they are more serious about fraud protection than they are about making money and selling/making/publishing products.
For instance, if you're at work/college and you decide to buy one of their products and put your home address in the billing info instead of putting your work/school's address, they will see that the IP doesn't match the address of your home address, and they will block you and refund your purchase, and your product will not be delivered. It's pathetic. Yeah right, because everyone knows we're just fat lazy neckbeard teenagesr who are sitting on our asses at home buying Sample Foundry products and we're just 2 Twinkies away from having a fatal Type-2 Beetus attack. Lmfao

^^^That last sentence of mine was sarcasm, btw. I'm pretty sure that doesn't even remotely describe any of us SF rejects. It sure as hell doesn't describe me at all.
