Realitone - RealiVox Blue KONTAKT - File Size: ~1.95 GB
Reposted without *stolen* serial. Thanks go out to AudioZ user Intrinsic for the Uploaded.net and RG links. Give him some love, too!

REALIVOX – BLUE:
It starts with the voice. Blue is my go-to singer when I want that ultra-pretty tone. Check out the audio demos and see if you don’t agree.
WORDBUILDER:
Six vowels and 23 consonants give you the tools to create your own words and phrases.** But we went deeper than just sampling a bunch of vowels and consonants. Way deeper. Consider these elements:

An “s” singing into an “ee” sounds different from an “s” singing into an “oo.” (Try it yourself. Listen to how your own “s” will sound different, depending on the vowel.) So each consonant was recorded separately going in and out of each vowel. There are two and a half octaves of “k” samples (32 samples) that go into “ah.” Another 32 of “k” into “eh.” And so on. For each consonant, that’s six sets for each vowel.

When we recorded the ending consonants (completely separate samples), we noticed that it doesn’t sound quite right if you just slap an end consonant sample onto the end of a vowel sample. A singer’s mouth closes differently, depending on which consonant they’re going to. So we sampled not only 192 ending “t” consonants (6 vowels times 32 samples per vowel), but we also recorded the closing vowel sounds leading into each consonant. For ah. And for eh. And ee. And oh. And oo. And uh.

So when you play “Peace,” you’ll be triggering four samples altogether. First is the “p” sample that specifically with “e.” Then you won’t hear just any “ee,” but you’ll actually get the “ee” that comes after “p.” (Your ear would know if we tried to cheat and use a regular “ee” instead.) Then you’ll hear a few milliseconds of a closing “ee” that would lead into “s.” And then finally, the “s”. A closing “s” that specifically goes with an “ee” vowel..

This is why Realivox Blue is 12,000 samples. No other vocal library that we know of has gone this deep in the quest for realistic vocal performances.

TRUE SAMPLED LEGATO:
We sampled legato intervals for all six vowels, as well as for “mm.” (We find humming to be a particularly useful articulation.) Not just the six/seven vowels, but also the special transitions betweem say, oo to ee. When you sing from oo, to ee, there will be a “w” in the transition. (Try it yourself and you’ll hear what I mean.) So we have “oowee” legato samples. And “oowah.” And “ooweh.” And “eeyoh.” And on and on.

Then we spent months editing and balancing to get the legato as smooth as we could make it.

POLYPHONIC LEGATO:
We believe this is the simplest and most intuitive polyphonic legato there is. There’s only one knob, and you’ll probably never even touch it. You just play. Check out the videos to see how easy it is.

ENSEMBLE MODE:
Whether you want to thicken her a bit, or whether you want to create an ensemble sound, simply turn on Voice 2 and Voice 3 and you’re in business. No need to open a second or third track for doubles or triples. We make it easy.

There are volume, pan, tuning and timbre settings, as well as delay offset, if you don’t want the singers too perfectly in sync..

KONTAKT OR KONTAKT PLAYER – YOU”RE COVERED EITHER WAY
Do you have the full version of Kontakt? Then we pass the savings on to you.

Or if you don’t feel like spending $399 on Kontakt, no problem. We pay a license fee to Native Instruments so that you can use Realivox Blue in the free Kontakt Player. And we actually charge you less than what we pay them. ‘Cause we’re cool like dat!

Realivox Blue (and Kontakt) works on PC or Mac.

quote by Thankfulcan anyone produce the "schwa" sound?

Hi Thankful, Curious about this "schwa" sound, in which words this phoneme appears? I had phonetics for 2 years at the Uni, cause of Italian, French and German Opera, 'English was not needed, Opera in English?' Just Porgy.

I liked your great observation about the "er" [ər] of english.

Btw, when we transcribe 'Phonetics' we must use the sighs: // or [ ] /fəˈnɛtɪks/

This site transcribes all types of phonetics using many good authors methods:

Hi Hans, the 'schwa' is interesting, mostly because it is the most commonly heard sound in the English language, we just, er, don't realise it. I know about transcribing phonetics, ər = er, but pointless to use them if nobody is going to know what the sounds are.

When I get this one, I'll be able to create something

Thanks for the test. I was about to buy this one some time ago, but found it expensive and didn´t really knew if it could supply anything when it comes to vocal.

Tested it now for some hours and here´s my judgement:

Interesting that you can do this with only 2 Gb samples! You can nearly get the girl sing something you understand! It´s fun to play with and you learn a lot about phonetics!

Will I buy it?

Nope! But salute to the developer - hope he´ll go one develop this, so it´ll be more compelling in the future! He´s into something very interesting IMO!

Once again: Thanks for the test - most interesting test in a very long time!
You can't have everything; where would you put it?

Agreed! It's a long way forward, but still not a substitute to a real singer.
It's less pain-in-the-arse than Symphonic Choirs though, actually very simple to use.
Thank you for helping us help you help us all.

I was blown away by the Youtube video.

What amazed me the most is the library size which is relatively small if we refer to the results that can be achieved.

Me too. But when you think about it while watching the video you realize the complexity of this library isn't about the total weight,. It's about a lot -but small- samples that they work because of the complex scripting.
[2009] Sorry for my English. I'm working on it
[2017] I'm beginning to improve. Hell yeah, I'm a fast learner :D

Thanks for this tremendous effort. This is a wonderful share. The honorable thing to do is to support this company if you like this stuff. I'm waiting for a guy version next. :-) To the sharer that posted a crazy version of this upload with bogus intentions, go choke yourself.

As usual, I love you guys. This is a great community, full of hardcore producers. Keep Rocking.

Much I live more I learn. More I learn, realize that don't know nothing.

Understood: "chocolate as choclat"

"schwa", amazing word, but, there is a word in German: "schwach" that means "weak", and "שווא" in Hebrew mean "nought, false, fake".

Was written first time by 'Jacob Grimm' in his book 'Deutsche Grammatik' in German.

Btw. Actress "Julie Andrews" don't use 'schwa'.

Sorry to mess again, but I compared 'REALITONE' with 'VOCALOID 2 - POCALOID 2".

'Realitone' sounds really more humam natural, while 'Vocaloid', Prima Soprano and Tonio Tenor sounds 'ABSURDLY NASAL' due to the natural 'Tone Voice' of Japaneses, for example:

The "Italian language" has very little nasal vowels, so that 'Italy' and 'Spain' have the best singers of Opera in the world.
For those unaware, if you have not the speech and their voice accents, will never sing in Millan at 'La Scala' and if not legitimate 'French' trying to sing anything in France, such 'Ravel', or translations of 'Bizet', the "Diapason Magazine", will destroy you in half a page.

Therefore, I hope that Realitone build a "Latin Phonetics" version for this with other voices: Soprano, Tenor, Alto and Bass.

Btw, listen to this, simply amazing, Acoustic Guitar and Realitone Blue on Villa-Lobos

You know what's funny is I was actually thinking the same thing a few months back when I tried to use this. I was putting together an italian choir and latino choir piece with this library among a few others. You made a really good point, there. I'm also not a big fan of the acoustic lite guitar library from realitone. This is why i never bought it. As a guitar player myself, I thought the limit in chord types was too limited to me, as I play a lot of distinct, weird chord types in my songs like "add11" chords and "Major 13th" or "Major #11th" chords to name only a few. So Acoustic Lite would've been a waste of money on my part. Lol. I don't know if that's what I heard in this video, but it sounds nice! Also, Vocaloid sounds horrible, IMHO. I used it once and was horrified by the amount of audible synthesis in many of the voices. Lmao.

Thanks for the re-up , claytonr - this looks like a great share. I bought their Ladies instrument and it's quite useful for arranging.

Hi!
Thank you so much for sharing! I have downloaded the RAR files and have been unable to open them though. Is there a specific program that you use? I use stuff expander. It says the structure of the file is corrupt or it determine the format of the files. Should I download files again? What do you think?
