This is a light version of the Native Instruments Symphony Series String Ensemble library. The library features a 60-piece string section and has 38 individual articulations. The sound of the library is lush, and recorded dynamics are somewhere in between epic and soft, making it versatile enough for use in different genres. One of the strongest features of the library is its Auto Divisi feature, which works upto two notes for each instrument group and gets rid of the stacking effect when playing multiple notes. Overall, a well-rounded library with a good sound and plenty of features!

Following changes were made to the library:
1. The "Stereo" and "Far" mic sample groups were removed. The default Stereo mix isn't that great and the Far mic position doesn't add too much to the mix, and can be easily replaced by a reverb. The included "Close" and "Mid" mic positions allow for a great deal of flexibility while preserving the sound of the hall the strings were recorded in as well.

2. The samples in the original release were in 24-bit 48kHz format. The samples were converted to 16-bit 48kHz and repacked into NKX containers. A null test results in a peak of -85dB, which won't be audible at all. Also, after quite some testing, no issues were found with noise floor build-up when playing lots of notes. The conversion process takes the size down to 9.03GB from the original 31.8GB, which is a 72% reduction!

The result of these changes is that patches now consume much less memory than the original. For example, the Cellos patch now takes up just 0.99GB of RAM instead of 2.92GB in the case of the original library!

NOTE: Kontakt v5.8.0 or higher is required. This library does not work with legit full version of Kontakt and k'd Kontakt is necessary to use this library.

I read the comments about the problem with the looping of some samples and saw you recommend a user not too continue downloading if not finished so...does that mean you are hoping to come up with a fix?
I'll follow the advice you gave previously and I guess I'll hold off for now too then.

Yes, that's correct.
However, I'm not sure what to do here. I have two options:
1. Go to every single looped sample and manually update the loop points. AFAIK there's no way to automate it based on a condition. This would take way too much time and I'm not sure if I'm ready to do this.
2. Go back a step and use the original samples instead of my converted samples, and just delete the unwanted mic samples. This would increase the size of the library by almost 2x though.

Hmm...yeah, that's an unfortunate situation.
Really too bad to have put that effort and not get the hoped result.
I hope it was just a fluke on this one release and that the next ones will turn out better.
That's what I'd do....I'd skip trying to fix this one and just hope it turns out ok on the next libraries.
There are sooo many huge libraries that are just waiting to be shrunk by your skills!
I'd just try my luck somewhere else

Help! I am getting the following message: "This instrument belongs to a library that is currently not installed." But there is no installation file. Was there supposed to be an installation file^ I am using Kontakt 6.2.2. It says Full License, but it is cracked. I downloaded from Mega

This library needs to be added to Kontakt before you can use it. The process is different depending on what OS you're using. Send me a PM and we can discuss there.

When I select Native Instruments Symphony Series, to add it to Kontakt, it says the library has been added. But it does not show up in Kontakt. When I try to load samples by navigating to the samples, I get the message that "This instrument belongs to a library that is currently not installed".

Meanwhile, there's another message at the top which says, "Add Library Assistant For NI Kontakt 5." Which second version of Kontakt should I install?

Weird, it doesn't show up in my Library when I use Kitty's "Add Librarty" script in K'd Full 6.5.

That's strange. I'm on Windows and have three different versions of Kontakt, highest being v6.3.2, and it shows up on the Libraries tab of all of them. Do the .NKIs load up properly or do they show up in Demo mode?
Also, by any chance do you also have the original Symphony Series String Ensemble already installed?

The Instruments show up in demo mode. And no, this is the first Symphony Series I installed. I'm on Mac btw, Catalina using Logic.

Libraries should not show up in demo mode on k'd Kontakt if you've added them properly. If adding the library itself fails, it would show "This instrument belongs to a library that is currently not installed."
I don't have a Mac to test on, but from what I've read, Kitty's scripts seem to be working great. Do other libraries work fine? Also, have you tried adding the library the old way, i.e. using Kontakt 5?

im getting this error while extracting: ´´Libr.NaIn.SSSE.rLV.part03.rar: Checksum error in Native Instruments – Symphony Series String Ensemble rLV\Samples\Cellos B.nkx. The file is corrupt´´

i restarted my pc, i used 7-zip and winRAR, redownloaded part 3 twice but it keeps showing the same error help :(

That's really strange. Nobody else mentioned this happening. By any chance, did you download some parts before I made changes to the library, and some parts after?
Also, which links were you using: my MEGA links or the UL and RG links from the AudioZ Mirror?
