I am still pondering what "3.6 x Hyper Sound Quality" means...

just finished installing and testing now. so far im really impressed! the sounds are really good and useful! what i look for in sound libraries

No disrespect but some of you need to get off your high horses! Sheesh, you are being offered a library for free, test it out and move on... no need to crap all over the release. Thanks as always, Talula!

(Very) first impressions - I think the "unprecedented realism" claims are a bit OTT.

It has some nicely layered rompler-like textures. The percussive synth sounds are particularly good and I would think would cut through a mix quite well.

Doesn't use up much cpu and patches load quickly (I'm running from an external usb2 drive on win7).

I haven't got access to a velocity sensitive keyboard at the moment, but I imagine that the patches would really start to shine with one, especially in the hands of a proficient keyboard player.

I think this would make a good all-round workstation package for a player that wants access to some decent sounds and doesn't want to experiment too much. The stock presets are quite safe and there's nothing I can hear that exceeds the realism of specialized sample libraries or the warmth of, say, Diva or the clarity of a Zebra or Sytrus.

EDIT: Like altoluk wrote, it has some really nice layered sounds out-of-the-box. Having some fun just playing around with them. Don't really know if it justifies the 300€ price tag though.

Downloaded and tried. This has some very good sounds and a useful interface.
So all you people who 'complain' or make un-useful comments about why it must be rubbish bcause its a new company, or it has no souncloud or it is too big or blar, blar, blar, need to get a life and ONLY COMMENT ON WHAT YOU HAVE TRIED.
Because what makes me angry is that this uploader is probably the best, most generous Kontakt uploader we have ever had here and you are negatively putting down his releases WITHOUT EVEN TRYING THEM. This is no only a waste of time for you (maybe get a life, make some music or something, instead of making useless comments) But not only is it a waste of our time reading it and finding it tells us nothing, but if the guy himself reads your negative, useful, ungrateful comments on his generous uploads and stops uploading because of your brainless stupidity it will be your fault, but it will be us too who will suffer and not be able to test things. So shame on you !

Well if you tried it then your comments are valid. My comments were aimed at the others comments at the start of the post - which were useless comments based on no knowledge and saying it wont be good because its a new company, or it has no souncloud, or it has no video demo, or it is too big or blar, blar, blar. That's good reasons for not blindly buying it, yes. But its not only - not a reason for not trying it for free, but posting unhelpful, negative comments about why you wont be trying it (who gives a funk about your useless thoughts. This social media attitude of telling everyone the mindless thoughts in peoples brains that are based on nothing, ls just a waste of peoples time, but in this case could upset a good uploader for no reason except than some people like to spit out their verbal diarea)

Well, I tried it, and it's not the worst, yet it's not the best out there. The Orchestral samples are mediocre compared to things like Spitfire, and I can hear some aliasing in them. Especially the strings. The most confusing section is the "Background" category. When one hears "Background" as a category, they don't expect guitar plucks or rock guitar distortion correct? (especially when there is already a "plucks" category). In fact one background patch called Hollywood Trailer is nothing more than an Aliased violin bow that needs the frequency amount turned down. In the keys section, it has a decent Grand Piano, but not as good as Keyscapes version. Someone said this reminds them of Nexus, but trust me, the sound isn't even close. The most unique category is the "Smart Sequencer" category, But the actual "Smart Sequencer" is just an average Arpeggiator with 6 sections. The info says "Switch keys and Smart sequencer will generate chords that compliment each other", but you can get that with many other releases, like Arpology etc... But the claims about the sound quality being the best simply arent true. I pulled a sample out of "Factory_7.nkx" called "Strings Ensemble 8-[2].ncw" and converted it to a WAV, and found that it's your basic 44100Hz 32 bit sample that sounds exactly the same outside of the Kontakt archive as it does within the instrument. Overall, this is a generic sample library that covers a generalized genre set with nothing new to add to the scene except a set of new samples someone else made that you can already find in many other generalized libraries. It's not the best, it's not the worst, it's average. Is it worth the asking price of 299 euros? ...NO. At most maybe 100. But yeah, this reminds me of a general set of average sounds you might find in a Zero-G release.
