Yeah, totally Catalyst, this is a great tool, remember how much time we used to spend trying to do similar things the HARD way? And it's not just presets that you will hear everywhere, it is so customizable that you can do so so many things. This is a great tool....

Yeah man, this is definitely a great tool. I love stuff that you can customize and make unrecognizable. That way you don't end up sounding like every other asshole. That's why those Nexus sounds make me want to puke.

Exactly. I go out of my way to use other stuff even if it's harder in the long run than having premade mainstream approved garbage. And the prices they charge are nothing short of retarded. I can't believe people even pay that much for an expansion. It's so sad. There are so many better synths out there that we're spoiled for choice: Omnisphere, Serum, Sylenth1, Spire, all the uhe synths and those are true synths. Then if you need samples we have this thing called Kontakt. You could even buy a hardware synth for that price and it will grow with you whereas Nexus is a one trick pony. reFX is really milking that thing for all it's worth. Can't believe people are still addicted almost 7 years later. Slap a nice GUI on some trite trash and they'll be eating out of the palm of your hand I guess.

could NOT agree more. It's insulting and sad. (and have you had time to fire up Serum yet?, I have been getting some amazing stuff out of it...but off topic..:))... But I wouldn't install nexus on my machines if you paid me.... and if i ever get a track from someone with it on it, i mute it...:)

No haven't installed Serum yet but it might happen soon. I have a lot going on right now and it's hard to find any time. There's also a lot going on this year and I really don't know how i'm going to be able to keep up. In 2015 you will see a new AudioSex, SAiNT is testing some platforms on his local server as we speak.

Then there's still bugs that need to be fixed here and they're insidious. The good news is we fixed some annoying ones already such as the comment link ones where the text would get split on two lines and when you clicked the peeplink it wouldn't point to the full address. Also text breaking comment borders and other annoyances. Then we fixed some image resizing issues in the comments and in PMs. Also introduced a little glowing outline to posts that are yours in the thread. Still need to find out why that message counter is off. It works properly for me but members say they have a message count when they've read all messages. Suffice it to say that a lot is going on. I'm not even getting into the next side-project I'm working on here. The album was my first and now we try something new.
