Kontakt 5 Factory Library Modwheel Controlled Crossfade Patches (Experimental!)

drdark | 4MB
These are only patches, which means you have to have Kontakt 5 Factory Library already installed.
You may also need Kontakt 5 Factory Library v1.1.0 Update (R2R), which I have also posted.
(It adds few more samples and modifies a few patches. Kontakt 5.3 is required to be able to use
the updated patches, but my crossfade patches require Kontakt 5.4.2 anyhow)
Basically, the point of these patches is to give you an opportunity to play through velocity layers
using modwheel instead of velocity of the keyboard keys, but velocity sensitivity is still preserved,
so you can combine the two efforts to create more expressive live music.
I love all libraries that have this feature, but I love VSL samples even more! - and that is why
I had to share this with you. Now... I have tested this and it worked:
all you have to do is put Nils Liberg's Kontakt crossfade script into (for Windows 7):
C:\Users\\Documents\Native Instruments\Kontakt 5\presets\Scripts\Performance
I have provided the script here, but you should visit his official page:
http://www.nilsliberg.se/ksp/scripts/scripts.html#crossfade - for even more good useful scripts.
Then choose where to put the patches (they are organised in Brass, Woodwinds and Strings folders
and have not been renamed from the originals) and simply do a Batch resave of these patches:
when asked for the samples folder point to Kontakt 5 Factory Library folder (not only to the samples folder
because they need the resource container as well). It may take some time to scan the big .nkx files.
And Voila! - they should work just fine! - test them and please leave some feedback!
