Evolution – The Sounds

The Second Kosmology Installment has arrived, created exclusively for Kosmology, the advanced Sequencing system for Kontakt 5. In comparison to Awakenings it has a slightly harder edge, and also includes a few more FX type sounds with lots of movement which are interesting when modulating the Sample Start Position. It was designed using a DSI Evolver and takes advantage of both the Analog and the Digital side of this amazing instrument. All sounds were created from scratch for this collection and definitely bring the Evolver’s unique ‘sound’ into Kosmology for Sequencing Fun

All 200 instruments are multi-sampled, using 4 samples per instrument at 24-bit using pure synthesis with very few effects. For the most part they have the Filter Wide Open so they can be upfront and powerful, whilst they can be tamed easily using Kosmology itself. Whilst most sounds are chromatically useful, there are a few effect, detuned and drop instruments scattered throughout the collection to add some nice surprises and interests whilst Wave Sequencing. Fifty new Presets are added using Evolution which adds to the existing 70+ Kosmology presets (all Kosmology presets can be loaded into any Kosmology based Instrument)

Also included are Kosmology Instruments for both Kosmos Classics and Infekted if you own either of these collections!

Does anyone know where to place the Data folder containing the presets in order to get them to show up in the browser within the instruments?

Good question. Too bad the script editor is locked. We could have seen the path in there.

Major pain. Somehow with the .nki script from the first release located here you are able to see Data folder containing the presets. I even managed to include other presets from other Kosmology instruments there. Hope this helps.

Here's how I got it to work. I combined both releases to make a proper release. Use the .nkc and .nkr and folder structure from old release. Then copy instruments and samples from this release only into the old folder structure. Then all presets and samples loaded without a hitch! Thanks for the releases guys! Kinda cool sequencer!

Ok here are the details :

Start with Homegrown.Sounds.Kosmology.Evolution.KONTAKT-MAGNETRiXX around 800mb. Transfer sample and data folders NOT CONTAINED IN MAGNETRIXX FROM
Homegrown.Sounds.Kosmology.Evolution.PROPER.KONTAKT-SYNTHiC4TE (approx 5 gb) TO SMALLER MAGNETRIXX VERSION.
In 2 cases we will also have to tranfer nki folders and NOT use the ones in MAGNETRIXX version...these are Classics and Infekted. Also do not use the "Lite' versions of these particular ones either. This is so you won't have classic and infected searching hopelessly for samples...and the browser will work in both. Now the browser works in all nkis.

Let's see if this is the solution.
I'm sure others will find out why this happened in the first place.

Tried a lot of different solutions but still can't see presets in Kosmology browser, only if I copy Kosmology Analog to Evolution the lite vertion of Analog can see presets but few images of synth are incorrect. will try to merge MAGNETRIXX with PROPER, maybe this will somehow sort presets issue
