A detailed sampling of a Fender Precision bass, captured with both fingered and picked articulations, features a range of controls to shape its sound across various genres. Recorded at Nave Studios by engineer Danny Blackburn, Blueprint: Bass Guitar delivers the iconic sound of a Fender Precision Bass, meticulously captured using both fingered and picked playing techniques. The library offers the flexibility to switch between the pure, direct signal or an ‘amped’ version, with custom effects applied to the original signal for added character and depth.



In Amp mode, the library includes a drive control, allowing you to introduce warmth and saturation to the bass, enhancing its presence in any mix. Additional controls are provided to apply dynamic compression, further shaping and refining the tone to suit various musical styles. Whether you need a clean, punchy sound or a more aggressive, saturated tone, Blueprint: Bass Guitar offers versatile control for any bass line needs.

The Interface

Tone
– Modulates an EQ to vary the brightness of ths instrument. Similar to the tone knob on a bass guitar.

Compression
– Increases the amount of compression added to the instrument.

Drive
– Adjusts the drive of the amped signal. This control is disabled when DI mode is selected.

Signal
– A choice between the direct (DI) or amped signal.

Articulation
– Switch between the fingered and picked articulations.

Release Volume
– Controls the volume of the releases.

Velocity Response
– Control how much the volume of the instrument is affected by velocity
