THANK YOU!!! screw this company. i bought their non kontakt version of the plugin a day before this version came out. Wrote them saying i would much prefer the kontakt version, as i found their plugin to be buggy, and could i please get a refund on the plugin so that i can buy the kontakt version. they told me blah blah blah, its a different instrument, and you bought it so there are no refunds. will not spend another dollar with them.

While that is slightly dickish, you're overreacting and setting your baseline at 'companies that do go above & beyond like that'. It probably definitely states somewhere no refunds and also in this specific situation, a company isn't obligated to refund you at all considering it's your decision to want the kontakt version.

All too often it goes " 'X' company sucks" because we're used to 'Y' company and 'Z' company going above & beyond, however we'd be wrong to think 'Y' and 'Z' are the baseline because it's not, it's "above & beyond"
