The Upright is plucked legato upright bass library for Kontakt.

We’d been talking about doing this one for a while, but we weren’t sure it’d properly benefit from the sampling techniques we employed for our legato guitar libraries. Thankfully, we were proven wrong and the end result exceeded our expectations.

For the Master Legato patch, we included natural legato up to a major 3rd, slide-plucks up to an octave and slide no-plucks up to a major 2nd (the latter two with slide speed CC control). Great patch for a variety of settings due to its enhanced expressive capabilities.

The Performance Sustains patch is a real workhorse; comprised of samples all pulled from curated phrases — enhancing the tone, consistency and fluidity.

The Body Perc includes a collection of slaps, thumps, knocks, fret slides and room tone — all of which are mapped below the playable range of the upright bass. With this setup you can arm both patches simultaneously and jam away.

Not being ungrateful, but the double bass they have used for this library is almost toneless on the lower part of the tonal spectrum and completely without sustane on the entire spectrum.

Bad instrument they have chosen, sadly enough

i would appreciatte if anybody could help me out with a problem. I am running a MACBook Air M3, with Sonoma and I need to add Kontank Libraries ( Nicnt) to Kontakt 7. How can I do it? I tried Kontakt 5,66 and it doesnt even open. Anybody that could help me out here? I would really appreciatte. Thanks.

need? no, you don't need it. because it's working without nicnt and without installation!

if you want use it as KP library - learn how you can add it and make it any library.
