Introducing the playful chiming sounds of a vintage Toy Piano, captured in exquisite detail with additional tools to extend the sound.

The sound of the Toy Piano is produced by hammers striking metal rods (tines), resulting in a unique bell-like tone. The instrument was close mic’d in stereo, in a dry studio, and has controls available in the Faulkner Dulcichord, an instrument that was part of our previous release, Trails by Alexander Parsons.

THE INTERFACE



Damping
Dampen the release of the played sample.

Key Clicks
Control the volume level of the key noise from the instrument.

Broken Tuning
De-tunes the keys of the instrument independently to replicate the natural de-tuning that occurs with an instrument’s age.

Reverb
Control the level of reverb with further settings if you click on the cog.

Atmosphere
Control the level of the Atmosphere Layer and press [S] to solo it

Settings
Click the cog for additional Tightness and Dynamic Settings.

Furthermore, Blueprint: Toy Piano is compatible with the free Kontakt Player, with activation through Native Access, meaning you can use the library without purchasing any additional software.
