Dalmatian is a collection of 218 Multi Sampled Oscillators sampled from a Behringer MS-1, a clone of the legendary Roland SH-101. These samples are then used to populate a dual synth Kontakt 6 Instrument. The instrument is designed to be simple, lightweight, yet capable.

The samples are 96k for high quality & were then processed with Batch xFader using the newly implemented single Cycle mode. As a result the entire instrument is less than 10mb loaded into memory. Single cycles are small samples which capture the original oscillator with a small memory footprint.


Made for NI Kontakt FULL v6.7.1 or higher!

It really does make a bright pleasing sound.
MOST pure synths are NOT that clean IMO.
I doubt the Roland cloud remake is that clean.

So I guess thats the Kontakt synth engine?

Homegrown makes some of my favorite stuff. I've ended buying a number of things after getting it here first because I liked it so much and want to support further development. The group buys are awesome too.

Good devs should definitely be supported.

I could have saved 80% of the money I've ever had,

This one wasn't recognised by my Kontakt. I hade to create a .nicnt file for it to work, now it does :)
