Thanks for the share!!!
The sound is very good but the range is very limited a little more than 1 octave without stretching. Good number of round robin thou..

Interested 'till looking at the youtube vid...yeech. Shit Tone...screw with your own filters - amps sims on just about any other reasonable lib for better tone. This coming from a bassist playing fretted-fretless for over 10 years back in '70s-'80s

No offense by all means, I'm sure you're a great bassist, this however is made for very specific range of modern (!) metal genres (Progressive, Metalcore etc.) basically everything that's super low tuned.

I'm just saying... I wouldn't go on a dirt track rally with a Formula 1 car either, you gotta use the right tools for the right situations and this product is actually pretty suitable for what it was made for. Especially with all those low tuned budget-basses, that aren't set up correctly nor have the right string gauge and are just flappin' around, you are sometimes left with only one solution and that is to replace the bass with MIDI (or ask the band to kick their bassist )

>IN< a dense mix this will sound pretty much like a bass (+chain) most people won't afford. It's not pretty on it's own, but that's not the point, it has to work in a heavy mix full with guitars, screams, hard hitting drums and synths, and that, it does pretty well.

Why do I care? Because for the right audience this is quite a gem and we should support Cory Brunnemann, because he's a pretty cool dude who makes some pretty cool records.

Just my 2ct.
