EV Productions Armenian Shvi KONTAKT

The Shvi, Armenian fipple flute is not commonly seen as sampled instrument. Maybe because there is nothing much special about it's sound. Yet it's one of the oldest instruments which dates back 3000 years. The sampled instrument was bamboo (not apricot) Shvi I obtained as a gift when I purchased my first Duduk (Armenian double-reed instrument) Players usually start with Shvi and as they develop breathing and finger postures, they're ready for either Duduk or Zurna. I didn't start with Shvi, I jumped straight to Duduk and it was good decision because the instruments are very different (like recorder and oboe).
