I don't know what the intentions are, but I do appreciate hearing about all these freebies here. It's useful, and releasers putting up mirrors can come in handy at some point if the company goes belly up or stops distributing the product. Also it's nice to have a mirror when companies have you jump through hoops to get to the download... some even require payment info to be entered for freebies. If the releaser makes a few cents out of his mirrors, frankly I don't see anything exceedingly wrong with it. It's not difficult to navigate to dev's page and just download it from there anyways... Just my opinion.

Yes, some few here speak about posters "making money" out of freebies, like if they were getting millionaire, but we are speaking about cents.
And if they don't get nothing, maybe they didn't post so, what's best? Having nothing? or having these post that participate to promote the plugins?

I don't know where you see the problem ... Original poster put very clearly 'FREE' in the title of the post, and then he or she puts the developer address in the body of the post ... So, what prevents you to pay a visit to the developer site and download it from there if you want? ... But sure i'm wrong and i should blame also Integral for making such a RIGHT post ... C'mon guys!!!

BTW guys, as it seems you're so worried about ethics and decency here, how is it that you've never said anything about people posting cracked Reaper here? ... Just curious!

P.S.: Totally agree with you both, lpu2n + Olymoon (specially in something lpu2n mention and which i hate a lot, i.e.: to have to register to get something which is said to be offered for free)
