BOCS (Boards Of Canada Synthesis) is a Kontakt sample pack consisting of ten pads inspired by the electronic duo Boards of Canada. It's refreshingly different compared to previous efforts from various sample packs and vst synths.

The reason why?

These sounds have been created via the methods used by the group themselves. Vintage analog synths, 4-tracks, valve amps even VHS recorders were used to create a sample bank more authentic than anything we've heard before.

These sounds have a dirty, dusty, and dream like quality just like that elusive Boards of Canada sound. Weighing in at just under 1 gig you can be guaranteed a truly professional sound to use for your next stunning track.

10 sample banks each fit into two sound modules within the Kontakt GUI which consists of a patch blend option. Drop the volume on module 2 and use these samples as fantastic sounding individual patches. Combine any two of the ten different sample sounds and change settings such as volume, attack, release or perhaps add a high or low pass filter. With this awesome blend functionality you have the ability to create a vast array of new sounds tailored to your individual needs.

Then there's the brilliant type of auto filter. You want a long silky filter sweep? you got it. Want to control the amount of oscillating micro tuning? Done. You just want those vintage analog synths moving and panning in some crazy manner whilst you control the oscillation speed in real time? Got it covered!

The Audiowarp prerequisite will always be that our samples are unique, top quality and highly usable and that we do all of this at the best price possible for you.

BOCS Volume 1 Sample pack comes in WAV format and Kontakt format (5.3.1 or above) It will only run in demo mode in the Free Kontakt Player.

The purchased download consists of 1 Kontakt NKI file which is configured to load and control all the samples in the ten WAV folders. The GUI loads the samples in each of the two modules within the individual NKI. These wav files also run independently outside of Kontakt and are open for you to use in other applications.

I would also point out that these are NOT expensive packs, and would have bought them, I just received some warnings about some problems they were having with paypal, and was a little concerned.... but sounds like grade a+ stuff.... Does anyone know about the problems they had with paypal and if they have figured it out? (these seem like guys I would def like to support)

Oh I didn't mean to suggest you did not bring awareness to this in your .nfo zeus! You CLEARLY stated to support them.... I was just mentioning that I had heard they had some issues, and was wary to pull the trigger...I would have, and will buy this when they have it sussed out. Seems like a clever and affordable little library right up my alley...
