an OGG file is just another format of audio file (such as a wav or mp3 file).

You would more than likely convert to wav and import into your daw. Hope that helps

Chippy33-Thank you for your response-I got to thinking and opened up My DAW Studio 1-Opened the OGG files on my desktop within Studio 1 and was able to drag the files over and they play perfect-Hope this help others -Regards DizzyFingers

OGGs also can contain individual track data so when importing into a DAW it would divide all the track parts into indi-tracks...with that said one could actually damage an OGG file when converting if the OGG were multi-track

Ableton. Reaper. Cubase. FL Studio. Tracktion. Mixcraft. Audacity. Wavosaur. Samplitude.
I'm sure there are more.
And I wish that the Ogg/Vorbis format would be used more widely, as mp3 is about the worst format for samples:
- Encoding and decoding mp3 often introduces offsets (depending on the encoder) so that mixing samples phase-coherently can become a laborious task.
- mp3 is bad for percussive and typical electronic/synthesized sounds, even at 320kbps, on critical material mp3 is not close enough to the original.
Ogg is much better at the same bitrate, its VBR works much better than e.g. the one implemented in Lame today, and it's practically sample-accurate.

OP says it's lossless, but Vorbis is not.
So either it's wrong and these are lossy files or there's not Vorbis inside the OGGs (could be FLAC, but why put it inside OGG?)
