And how Any One is making money on them.. is beyond me.

I'm not really the one to complain, but these kits have got to stop. Whether they're free or not. Almost EVERY kit (about 80%) of these kits (hip hop/urban typically) have the same exact dated and overused sounds. People are out here posting these kits for sale like these samples aren't free on many sites. This is just unacceptable. I speak on the kit and their makers. Not Beatcrowd or any of the uploaders who post the kits. It's just ridiculous.

I'm out here DL'ing trance and dub kits just to find a unique sample to use for my urban/hip-hop type of music; not that hip-hop has a "specific" sound, but all of the current hip-hop/trap/urban music ARE identical. That's probably why these kits are getting more and more blatant with the BS.

Yes, I have got into making my own samples because I'm forced to. I wouldn't call myself a "sound designer" at all, though. That's my peace.

I was going to make a post about this on Audiosex because its getting ridiculous now...its cool when its 9th Wonder, Hitek or Illmind etc, people with industry history but these are just some crap bundled stock sounds by ANOTHER unknown producer that no one cares about!

Dont get me started on the "these were recorded with Neve pre's running into a 70's Trident desk onto Ampex tape".....Yeah sure you used $100K of gear to make a $20 drum pack!!!

Yes, it's a problem guys i agree, why? Because producers that actually make decent/good original drumkits and have comparable boxes like this one above, are going to get skipped because of this bullshit. Almost all these drumkits are repacked and the authors know damn well what they are doing :P But hey, don't buy unless there's a preview/demo is my motto...Or you can always test them out from AudioZ
