Sampling – 800 Chopped Samples is a collection of old music samples that can be used in making hip hop beats exactly how the first music producers made. Also in this days this type of beats are popular as they were in the past.

Not few producers approach this kind of beats and combined with modern synth sounds and advanced music software, the final result can be really spectacular.

This collection comes as a support for those who want to grow their sound arsenal with some of the best samples used along the time by top hip hop producers.

800 Chopped Samples Ready!

If you have heard a funky beat that you just cant get out of your head, and you want to turn it into a new song, sampling beats is a fun and easy project you can do on your home computer.

You are out of ideas for the new instrument? Over 800 Samples Files are ready for you to chop/ slice / cut them and make a wonderful beat.

If you are one of those musicians who have always dreamed of making their own sampled beats have more tools at their fingertips than ever before this PACK come to help you.

Most Hip Hop producers use samples to create beats. DJ Premier, Girl Talk, DJ Shadow, Madlib, Dr Dre, Pete Rock, J Dilla, Marley Marl, 9Th Wonder and The Alchemist are just some of the producers who make sampled beats.

Everything is arranged and organized in specific folders and sub folders to make your job and searches easier.

Content:
- 40 Sub Folders with chopped samples (over 800 samples)
- One Fruity Loops Project – Sample Based Beat – all sounds included
- Free 10 Sampled Beats in Mp3 format

Short Tutorial:
Isolate the portion of audio you wish to use in the sample, using the editing tools in your audio program. Once you have isolated the sample, you can repeat it to create a loop, or you can export it to a beat-making program (such as Fruity Loops Studio, Acid, Ableton or Reason) for processing into a completed beat.

All samples files are in Mp3 format.

Note: This is just a collection of samples from old music hits. Originality for this sample pack comes from the work of manually picking all this samples and embedded in 40 folders for a better usability.

This demo includes 8 beats created by me (Markus) along the years of production using samples from this sample pack.

The guy who makes these kits steals other peoples stuff and makes it his own so why should he make it royalty free when he copied it in the first place..

Hip hop has it's history in sampling of material and reusing it. It's what initially defined the genre.

This pack doesn't sound like he's sampled from new material but instead from old vinyl songs, just like it used to be.

If every hip hop artist in the past didn't sample older music, there would be no hip hop today.

In fact, majority (if not all music) you hear is an appropriation or 'influence' (whatever you want to call it) of other music.

That's why there is a war against copyright of 70+ years. You limit the 'natural' progress of music by 'banning' anything that could be done creatively.

(Source: Wrote a few papers on the history of sampling as well as genres)

tl;dr - Sampling songs is part of hip hop. They aren't royalty free if the copyright term has not expired, but that doesn't stop a hip hop artist from creating his tracks.

it Wired that these are MP3 you got to convert them to Wav play in Kontakt Sampler and i don't think even if you Payed for this that the Samples are Royalty Free it would be a lot of Money for all these Sample Clearances it's Crazy that they can get away with Selling this

Hey lyric8,

The problem with MP3s is that the data is 'lossy' (compressed) whereas .wav is 'lossless' (uncompressed). The conversion to MP3 throws parts of the audio away as to make the file smaller. Depending on the conversion parameters (sampling rate, bit depth) this might not be entirely audible to the untrained ear.

Try this as a test. Get a plugin that only lets you hear the 'sides' and no 'center', then listen to an MP3. You'll most likely immediately notice the artefacts present that have been introduced as part of the process.

A play on the saying is why composers/producers don't like MP3s: "You put shit in, you get shit out"

I think he was on to the fact that if WE make songs with THIS pack... we can never use it in a commercial production or we would get our arses handed to us...

GREAT UPLOAD.. simply the original product is lacking a few details to make this a commercially viable production resource.

At LEAST the original creator (not uploader.. who did a great job!) could have included a list of all sound file sources... so if someone DID make a song and needed to secure a release... it could be done...

Now we can just make beats with these for fun or local clubs.... if we throw these on a radio hit - you can look forward to some vasaline down the line....

Im with you bro... but in todays sue happy market... you know.. where even LMFAO gets sued by RICK ROSS simply because they say "EVERYDAY IM SHUFFLIN" and his song says "EVERYDAY IM HUSTLIN" ...

Thats 100% true and from current news...

If someone hears even a PINCH of their music in a radio hit... believe me ... they WILL come knocking at your door...

Just imagine if you were singing the blues for decades after your career went south... then you hear a snippet of one of your songs on the radio... You too would try to cash in ... WE ALL WOULD

Again this is a totally great upload.... just be sure to mangle it beyond anything recognizable ... but if you did want to cover yourself IF you land on the radio using this.... youre.. kinda outta luck... as source samples are not generally known...

LMFAO details here

Thats where the vasaline comes in handy bro! If the song blows up BEFORE you got clearance... HAHAHAHA

Man it's not all doom and gloom, you can always get samples replayed. Clearing publishing is straightforward when it's done by the right people as well. A company like Scorccio is your best bet for both of these reasons.

awesome sample source. good for liquid drum and bass and Dubstep. unfortunately it's almost all only in 128kb, but at least i have the names of the artists, so i can search for a better quality in the internet if available.
