The Snap Compressor library for Nebula is based on the bus compressor found in the worlds most successful consoles. It is the first choice of many top audio enginneers to "glue" a mix together.
In order to achieve a slightly more colored compressor we did not sample only the compressor, but used different stages of the console for sampling as well.

18 different Nebula programs provide you a variety of sonic possibilities to choose from. Solid bus compression or rather experimental presets - the choice is yours!

Compressor specifications

Attack: 0.1ms, 0.3ms, 1ms, 10ms and 30ms.
Release: 100ms, 300ms, 600ms and 1.2s.

System Requirements

PC: Nebula2, Nebula3 or Nebula3PRO/Server with installed commercial license - 32/64 Bit
Mac: Nebula3PRO/Server with installed commercial license - 32 Bit

Hey guys, sorry in advance for my ignorance, but I see a lot of stuff for Nebula lately, but I never use it.

The last time I tried it, it was few years ago on PC and it never really worked, it was crashing or making a lot of white noise, etc... So, I just forgot it and never try it again.
So, is that great now?

If yes, is there a Mac version somewhere?
When I do use the search, I only find stuff for Nebula, but not Nebula by itself.

This is not the last one, but it works.
Nebula still a pain to use, but the sound is very impressive. I would never do a full mix with it, but creating a virtual console (kind of Harrisson MixBus) , some reverb, some mastering EQ, tape...
Try all, and only use some to "spice" your work, it will be more rewarding than bouncing/offline rendering all over the place
