This is a simple sampling of a very famous optical compressor that has gorgeous valves in the signal path. It gives a very smooth natural sounding compression. I recommend using it in conjunction with the stunning IK Multimedia T-racks White 2A leveling amplifier ( tm )to get somewhat closer to the real hardware.

15 presets in total were made. 5 presets per sample rate. 10 distortion kernels

Please note that these require a fully licensed Nebula Pro license to enjoy.

Full commercial package size is 361 MB. Provided at 192 khz, 96 khz and 44 khz.

This 'Henry Olonga L-ay2a' Library makes part of his 'MOJO' series.

He posts a compressor and then states that algo compressors should be used with it


Because it acts as a 'MOJO', not as a Full Compressor by itself...

and as directly stated by the words of 'Henry Olonga' (himself !) :

WHAT IS A MOJO SET ?
...The Mojo series are samplings to give you the tone of the hardware that allows for a hybrid approach . Simply put, with EQs and compressors, you can use your favourite emulation plugin to control the action and curves, and just use my presets to add
the much needed clarity, 3D quality, dynamics, warmth,...
It is my attempt to allow you to use your favourite plugin, but to add
the mojo that plugins lack.
So the Mojo series does not compress or eq, but give you the tone
of the compressor
or EQ, hence the need for the plugin. Mind you any plugin will do,
but the emulations are more accurate at getting you closer
to the hardware.

You can also try this special 'MOJO' with others emulations of the famous 'Teletronix LA-2A'.
'Waves v9 Bundle' (or previous versions) has one, 'Nomad Factory' has also one (among others developers),...
In fact, all the more or less close emulations of the original 'Teletronix LA-2A' that you possess should be tested.
Sometimes, you can get some unexpected results with some emulations that you don't even think to use before to try them ! yes
