Thousands of "mutant" Vectorial Volterra Kernels escaped from an international prison server yesterday. The prison server, which is said to be "The Guantanamo Bay" for VVKs, was open for a few hours which enabled the breakout.

Accomplices had placed links to the server throughout the internet, causing numerous Nebula addicts to storm the door wide open. Within minutes of the escape, there were reports of malicious attacks on "decent law-abiding" plug-ins on many hard drives. Plug-ins from the "Waves" series were the main targets for assaults. One of the equalizers in the plug-in pack disguised itself as a renowned VVK leader called AlexB. However,the equalizer was unveiled, due to it's algo-rhythmic style of dancing.

Authorities recommended all Nebula owners to keep VVKs in the Nebula repository, as this is the only secure place, in case mutants have mixed in with regular VVKs.

Asked "how can I tell the difference between a mutant VVK, and a normal one," a spokesman replied: "Normal VVKs claim to be some kind of expensive Audio-Hardware, where as mutant VVKs say they are better than the expensive hardware, or they even claim to be Napoleon Bonaparte, Elvis or a reincarnation of the Queen Mum"
