These aren't too expensive for what you get and well worth the support to the guy who made them... There is a new one about to come out DMDSB Reloaded... It's rare to find a drum sample library that isn't overly compressed and processed to hell and back. I love all of the stuff from the guy behind DMD..

Buy the stuff if YOU USE IT...

I don't know about this stuff being that great. I've had these for some time and was completely underwhelmed. I'm sorry, and, I don't know about you guys, but, when you take all this time out to tout how much outboard gear you have and how you went broke buying all that gear, I expect to hear some stuff that makes me salivate from the press of the pad.

But, I'm sorry, I don't hear what difference the outboard gear had on these drum sounds that software couldn't have sufficed for. Free software at that. And, plenty of these drums sound like stuff I've heard in lots of other collections throughout the years.

And, THAT'S the problem I have with his collection AND Goldbaby's stuff. Don't spend all this time basically hyping up your setup and then turn out some stuff that doesn't blow me away.

If you want some "under-compressed", "under-processed" drums, there's plenty of "truly" free collections that you can get that are pretty much the same as this one.

Me, personally, I would rather have drums that are cutting edge that I can then tame rather than getting some light in the butt sounds that I have to overemphasize, ESPECIALLY if you want folks to pay for them.

yayyY!!! these are still here... I grabbed these awhile ago, then deleted them cuz I didn't like that "sound..." Fast forward a year later, and I love the sound of 909's and such.

Considering I've always allowed my mind to stay open, despite what I do not like at a specific point in time, I kinda expected that I'd end up liking this stuff eventually.

Can't find SB anywhere, and at this time, Driven Machine-Guy is selling a 3rd set for 47$.. prolly buy them.
