or better use pitch/hz correlation... tune your drum sounds with a spectrum analyzer according with the key of your track

right on mate. specially with a username like yours. the best vst synths have yet to cover a good tuned 808 sub bass. what blows my mind is why haven't all these commercial vst geniuses haven't made an 808 emulation with a key function like the freebie Ersdrum http://www.bostreammail.net/ers/ersdrums.html would love to see that on next Nepheton or ADM

LOL maladroid, absolutely agreed, and I like Ersdrums, too. Andreas Ersson's plugins are really good. Have you tried Drumular? It's a really interesting rhythm machine. His synths are really good, too. All free except Drumular.
