Amalgam Captures FNDR BRVRB 1963 ToneX Essential

AudioZ Exclusive | 25 April 2025 | 2.74 MB
The extremely rare 1963 brown panel Fender Vibroverb (6G16) is coveted by collectors and players due to its rarity and tone.
What makes this amp stand out is that it is incredibly well balanced from highs to lows and does not exagerate any of the frequency ranges nor has it too little of any frequencies - the right amoun of lows, mids and highs to dial it in for beautiful cleans and some wicked, smooth, creamy overdrive tones that brown panel amps are known for.
It sits right in the middle between the Tweed and Black Panel era and circuit-wise is very close to the Black Panel Vibroverb. Though due to some important component differences it still sounds and reacts in a similar way as other Brown Panel amps.
Our specimen has only the electrolytic caps changed as amps of this age should, it features original transformers and all other components.
The set includes 37 full captures that were recorded through the built in 2X10 Oxford K10 Gold speakers and the mics used were 2x Royer R121, a Beyerdynamic M160 and a Neumann U87. Please refer to the full list of included captures in the product photo section.
