why "resampling"? why not just release the real thing?

I'm happy. I even would have liked it to be dithered down to 24 bit. I mean do I really need a 192khz grand taking half a tera on my drive?
What overtone of the highest note a grand can play would a sine wave of 96 khz even be?
Awesome release, converted down to sanity (IMHO)

was just wondering... is this one like the original in operation, gui, and all other respects other than huge footprint then?

I reduced the previous library to 16 bits. The size became slightly more than 60 gigabytes.

Oh, thats highly interesting!
I never was courageous enough to go down to 16 bit on a piano library.
Was that without side effects? I had an old 16 bit yamaha stage piano and that had very noticable quantation noise in the sustain tials of its samples.
But we're talking 80ies converters, so...
What dithering did you use to convert down? (or did you use any)

I'm curious about How to do resampling

Is there drenched reverb on this one, like their Bösendorfer?
Can it be removed?
Just under a decade ago, I downloaded everything, and it all functioned flawlessly—there were no bugs or Pandora's box.
