Thanks for this, I just got bored of all the bass libraries and actually play a real bass this week. Nightmare, it ends tonight.

Haha, if I'm playing bass and it's been a while, I always walk away with wounds, fingers beat to hell since I'm notoriously anti-pick, with the rarest of exceptions.
If you're into Kontakt bass libraries, I have to shamelessly plug Orange Tree Samples Flatwound Bass, just in case you haven't tried it out. It's butter. I ended up using it so often for so long that it fell into that category of a developer "winning" my meager spending allowance.

Simply a quick and delightful tool. Understanding when you need to race against time doesn’t help much; this tool takes care of the rest, especially for producers and keyboardists who don’t play bass.

I learned in composition techniques that after copying and pasting the harmony we intend to use, we can simply place two half notes in each measure. Then, at the end, we focus on the bass. However, with the 'Session Bassist Jam Bass', you can expedite the process and hear the final result within minutes, which might even serve as an idea for any bass player. I prefer to use this tool and then hire a talented bassist for live performances.

It is very important to know that in physics and music there are two, bass and counter-bass.
BTW; CONTRA is a Latin word that means, against, below, however, the etymology of "counter" is linked to the idea of "opposition" or "counterposition", but English usage is mostly used for counting (calculator).

I keep getting "This blah blah belongs to a library that is not installed currently'.

Double-clicking the nicnt file has no effect, even though I get a response saying that it was successfully registered by the R2R Kontakt Manager.

PS> it loads fine into Kontakt 8 Portable, but not Kontakt 8.

confirmed, doesn't load in Kontakt 8 (bobdule) latest version 8.21

Edit:
How to get it working see below.

Are the audio preview working? installed and don't seem to have any of the audio previews.
Thanks for all the amazing releases!

to get it working under Kontakt 8:
you have to create a json file named "Session Bassist - Jam Bass.json" in:
C:\Users\Public\Documents\Native Instruments\installed_products
You can use an editor like Notepad++ or anything else what creates pure text (Ascii) files.
In that file copy the following line:
{"ContentDir":"D:\\Kontakt Libraries\\Session Bassist - Jam Bass Library","ContentVersion":"1.0.1"}
Replace the path with the one where you have installed all your Kontakt libraries.
During installation of the library (what is basically a copy to your Kontakt library folder) do not change the name of the library, it must be "Session Bassist - Jam Bass Library"
After that you have to run the "Add Library" tool that comes with bobdule releases (not sure if it comes also with R2R).

Thanks, but it didn't work for me. I duplicated the Prime Bass sjon file and edited it, making sure the directory path and the library name were correct. Cheers anyway.

This time, at least, I get a message telling me to make sure external drives are connected rather than that the library is not installed.

Here's my json file:
{"ContentDir":"G:\\Sample Library\\NI\\Session Bassist - Jam Bass Library","ContentVersion":"1.0.1"}

did you run the Add Library tool after creating the json file?
Also make sure that you have an actual NativeAccess.xml that contains Session Bassist - Jam Bass ( in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Native Instruments\Service Center )

Thanks, I'll give it another shot. I'm running the portable version as well as the standard one. It's getting a little complex keeping track of everything, especially when the portable version needs image resources saved in a different location.
I can see where some of my issues are coming from. I started out using the R2R v8 and was just double-clicking the nicnt files and overlooked that I needed to use the add library tool.

Hi, can I use this Session Bass on Mac? How can I add it to my Kontakt 8.1? I tried adding it via "Add Library" on macOS. The process was completed successfully, but I cannot see Session Bass in Kontakt. Can you help me?

For use with: Free Kontakt Player version 8.2.0 and higher, or Kontakt version 8.2.0 and higher.

This thing sounds great, love it! For the few people above that are having trouble getting it to work with Kontakt, I strongly recommend trying it with vkDanilov Kontakt Portable. I've been using it for several years, maybe once I had a problem with a library... other than that everything just works flawlessly with the Portable version, no problems. You should really try it, much less of a headache than the other variants of Kontakt.

Can anyone link to a working version of Kontakt for Windows please?

Thanks.
