whats the best way to update kontakt libraries? Uninstall the old one, delete it, and re-install with the new one?

Swap out just the nicnt ?

I just cut and pasted over previous files. Worked fine for this library (doesn't always).

I usually use something like FreeFileSync to check file changes and update.

I also, make sure to update the version number in the .json file located here to help you keep track of versioning in Native Access:

It all seems to blend together. In the past, there were sound engineers and synthesizers, like Eric Persing, whose work went unquestioned. Today, however, many are produced in large quantities for mass sale. Personally, I appreciate the old devices that are still very current; whenever I use old Korg M1 modules, people often ask, 'Where did that come from?' For those who believe that newer products are the better choice, I wish you the best of luck.

I tend to agree. Especially where much of this kind of stuff is more redundant than anything else. How many of these "generate this <insert marketing hype term here>" etc, tools does one need - there are a ton of these now. None of which really stands out being a "best in show".
