I mean, what's "street"? As Questlove infamously noted, Hit 'Em Up was "smooth jazz dinner music," and love or hate the guy and/or his comment, he's not wrong.
It's ironic that these "abstract" Hip Hop construction packs have always felt closer to authentic than ones aiming to sound "classic," since Classic cuts were often a unique interpretation of the source material, sometimes using samples from various songs.
