At last, the legendary electric piano of the 1970s has been sampled to perfection in all of its analog brilliance. The classic sound provided by the SCARBEE MARK I ranges from warm and mellow to bright and 'barking' and can also produce chiming bell-like tones. While it is of course the perfect choice for jazz, funk, fusion and R&B, this KONTAKT instrument is also versatile enough for any production where authentic electric piano sound is essential.

Instead of offering a 'grab bag' of many instruments which have been sampled to an 'acceptable' level, Thomas Skarbye focuses on a single instrument rendered to a level of detail previously unavailable to sample users. Through careful study and thorough restoration/setup he aims to capture the "soul" of the instrument and try to balance sound, playability and post-editing for a perfect match at the forefront of sampling technology. The SCARBEE MARK I was derived from Scarbee's legendary "Classic Electric Piano".

useless, dont even bother... this compares anything to the real (mean scarbee full package not the real instrument) thing, the guy which made the re-programming is an asshole just taking care of the graphics but knowing a shit about kontakt nor the instruments being edited... this even lacks the release layer which is BASIC for such an instrument (I have a real rhodes so I know what Im talking about) there are some other down-sized libraries from the same jerk and they're all the same awful, way too much reverb, too much trimming, total mess of dynamics and expresiveness, so dont waste your time, just go getting full sized releases instead

besides, this lame downsized versions just make confussion

so he's not an ''asshole''

it' seems most of the people that post comments forget about manners and forget that they are downloading things for free but still complain about all...

just use a emulation like lounge lizard or EVP88 if you want a "lite version"
the whole point of using Native Instruments - Scarbee Mark I is that it sounds real. and if you strip it down it would loose that. useless in my opinion...

Just a thought anyway, the "good" lite version of synthogy is pure crap also, nothing compared to the whole thing... this guy's lacks realism and expressiveness... abusing reverb is a common mistake for newbies which makes an impression on this guy's knowing on the matter.

I'm just warning people, this JR guy is releasing samples without even knowing how to use kontakt properly, being your choice whether to download them or not. Companies uses layers because they're needed. Let's say he understands kontakt better than synthogy & scarbee staff together so that he needs less samples to achieve right the same results, yeah right... actually synthogy & scarbee are stupid as they used unnecessary samples just because hard disk drives are cheap nowadays... really?

Besides, a rhodes without key-release samples is just not seriuos... now go claim this set sounds like the scarbee one, where people involved DO know both the real instrument and the sampler. Same goes for synthogy, as they developed the most realistic sampled pianos to date in my opinion. Both companies deserves all of my respect, not this guy. Convincing himself he could make a better development than these companies did makes him an asshole, no matter what I called him.

People downloading this could make a bad impression on these libraries, so please consider my words as an advice and go get the whole thing.

first Im not a newbie, nor im calling your attention in any way, second I do have a life so that i've no time to waste downloading useless stuff ,and i've made this comment just for HELPING other users dont waste theirs, third, taking part in other's discussion makes me think about who should get a life... by the way this expression is retarded

Even if I don't like this release I was always grateful and respectful to the uploader, wich didnt make himself such a "hard work" of messing up with those kits anyway. About the "creator" being an asshole i've already explained myself so clear that even you should have understood

If you can't see the difference between those and the original releases, go ahead, then you probably dont need anything else but this crap, go using them, who cares
