i used NA to update it

regedit & json where updated to ContentVersion 1.0.1 but the nicnt was not replaced.
it is still the old 0.9.0 product version 1

the nicnt file should be 1.0.1 & product version 2
you can still use a text editor to update correctlly.

Can you please expand on this for us who don't know? What is regedit & Jason and what do they have to do with my nicnt which I use kitty scripts for....

This is what worked for me:
(1) I removed the Latin Trap library.
(2) Before re-adding the library, I opened the "Latin Trap.nicnt" file in the TextEdit.app and made two changes in the second and third lines (making sure to save these changes before closing the TextEdit.app).
[The Second line was changed to read: <ProductHints spec="1.0.1">]
[The fourth line was changed to read: <Product version="2">]
(3) I re-added the library, then I was able to use it in Kontakt 8 without any issues.
(4) However, for some reason the secondary wallpaper image did not show up for me in Kontakt 8, even though it showed up in the Kontakt Library Utility ("KLU"). To fix this, I loaded the library in the "NICNT utilities" tab of KLU, I clicked the unlock icon next to the secondary wallpaper image, then I clicked "Save." The wallpaper showed up when I re-launched Kontakt 8.

Note: For reasons I don't understand, I had to restart my computer at least once during this process, but I don't recall exactly when. I think I did it between steps 1 and 2, above.

I cannot get this LEAP expansion to install and work with Kontakt 8 properly AT ALL!

All of the others went in fine...

Has ANYBODY got this working?

I have it working on 2023 Mac Mini, M2 Pro, Sequoia 15.1. You need to edit the nicnt file. See my other reply/comment, above.

Hi there and thanks! Yeah I did remove the library, edit the NICNT file as you suggested and then reinstalled it but still no joy! When I try to load it into Kontakt 8 I just get a warning of loads of missing files and yet it's all there and installed properly, so I just don't know what's going on! I spent a lot of time fiddling with it already so I've given up on that particular library now... all of the others have installed no problem at all and are all working so...
