The GUI interface has ADSR (Attack, Decay, Sustain, Release) controls to get different types of instruments to reduce the attack and increase the release to get a pad, reduce the sustain and increase the decay and release to get a pluck, etc. There are millions of capabilities for adjusting the instrument, both with the instrument and in your DAW.
