Update 1.2 Features
Free Mode: Use each slot as a freely playable instrument. Create your own Stories that can mimic specific articulations, ideal for grand orchestral sustains.

External Mode: Bypass THE SCORE's sequencer engine and play each slot on its corresponding MIDI channel from your DAW.

Is there a way/program to extract the files from installers like these? I don't generally install libraries to my system as I like to shrink them, so when updates like these come along I have to redownload the whole thing.

You can with both WinRar ans 7zip, but it's a mess of folders.
You should be able to update without problems. I also slim down libs.

What I do is to update with the .exe the normal way and after that I uninstall (with a good uninstaller like Revo) the update installer. Just in case I rename the lib folder before although it shouldn't delete anything.

Oh, and perhaps backup the PAResources folder too.

Did someone try update on Win.
As far as I know this need NI Kontakt Player 7.8.1 or higher.
I have version distributed in some other place, but I don't know is it a v.1.0 or v.1.1?
Is it possible to update v.1.0 with this update (it is usual that it is possible, but when it comes to software)?

Kontakt is on 7 man just update already. Yes it works from previous release, whatever version that was. Just point it to the folder and it updates all necessary files.

Why dont you put a COPY on your desktop (or somewhere you want) and try UPDATING that. The installer allows you to update anywhere, not like the usual when it updates the installed. Just point it at you 'copy' and see if it updates. I would assume that you only shrink the samples. Most of the updates is - new presets and snapshots.

I updated Kontakt to v.7.10.4, and update v.1.2 working ok.
