L.A. Riot 3 is a collection of sampling construction kits in laid back hip-hop, funk and new jack swing styles, presented on two CDs. The sounds are provided first as 'Dope Trax' - full tracks comprising drums, bass, Rhodes, guitar, brass, saxes, and occasionally vocal snatches. These are then de-constructed into their separate parts, which follow after the complete track.
