Think he mean bad quality samples, you can't process them nicely or your track will sound bad...

I also thought that's what he meant. Just wanted to make sure I got him right.
Well, if he really thinks that these are bad quality samples, then I have to fully disagree. I don't know anything about Mark Knight in terms of doing business. Maybe what KingSchlongXVII says about him is true. But it doesn't make any difference when it comes to production. Because it's actually all about James Hurr, the guy who engineers, writes and mixes music for him. This man really knows what he's doing. In my opinion, he's the most underestimated artist out there who makes the highest quality samples nowadays. It's actually him who makes these sample packs.
I hope LazerX realizes that these samples come from the released Toolroom records that have been tested on the dancefloor and approved by many people. Check out any Mark Knight track and if you're not deaf you'll notice that they do stand out in terms of production. And these samples sound exactly as they do in the records, which means they also sound great. All you have to do is to drag and drop them in your DAW and you're all set if your mix is right. That's what really high-quality samples are supposed to be like, which, unfortunately, you can't say about most samples out there since they need a lot of processing. You can only make a great mix if you get good source samples in the first place. And this is where Mark's samples come in really handy.
That's why to me the statement that these are bad quality samples is ridiculous.
It would be extremely interesting if LazerX gave us examples of truly high quality samples.

The biggest douchebag dance label owner and so-called "DJ". The absolute pits "producer" who can't even play the spoons if he tried. This musically devoid goon rips off his artists by not paying them royalites they have earned and has done this for almost 20 years. Seeing any of his over hyped, over processed total garbage on here simply fills my heart with the absolute greatest of joy. I really don't hate many people, but him.... well, just look at him. Looks like somebody you would ever trust with your music career? Yeah. Didn't think so.
RIP Olymoon

Me-ow!
Despite his apparently somewhat odd way of doing business (which is not entirely a rare phenomenon in the music world tbh) I really dig the Toolroom samples most of the time! Groovy, decent quality tech-house samples which can be very usable in your tracks, but therefore also highly processed and in many cases overused

quote by Jim Von GucciWhat do people think of the kick drums in this?

Not enough decay for my liking.

for everyone saying these packs are overprocessed/overused, perfect use case for ableton's transient loop mode to pull all the reverb/noticeable effects from the loops
